Read This Before Making a Suggestion

Attention: By posting in the Suggestionsforum, you agree to the rules of that forum, and the rules of RSR in general. "I didn't read the sticky" or "I didn't know the rules" is no longer a valid argument.

- Changes to RS2 before you play it
- Making you a Mod
- Spam (Don't spam)
- URL's, E-mail, anything like that
- Your topics on someone elses threads
- Things suggested a ton already (see number 3).
- Making money

5. Think about what you're posting before you post it. Just before you hit the Post button re-read what you wrote and think does this make sense.

6. Don't post all in caps.

7. Talk about your suggestion in the title! Don't use things like MODS PLEASE READ, or EVERYONE MUST READ. Things like THIS IS IMPORTANT.. or GREAT SUGGESTION don't particularly make people want to read and usually end up in flame wars.

8. Don't flame people who disagree with you. When you post expect people to disagree.

9. Check your spelling briefly before posting. At least make sure the title is spelled correctly. A few typos: no problem; make sure the whole post isn't full of them though.

10. Make sure to explain your suggestion clearly.

Woah, I never knew new alters or samurai/ninja style towns and such were over suggested... But for the other suggestions, yeah, they've been over suggested as I can see... Thanks for posting this... I hope this gets stickied to prevent any of those suggestions listed from being suggested here again... Thanks for the post though...

Where it says "guns", what about cannons? Technically the cannons used in Runescape are like "big muskets". Again, Jagex contradicts its self. :lol:

I guess though cannons were used during the medieval times if I remember correctly... Although personal guns weren't invented at the time, I think that the large cannons were starting to be used at the time... Though there are some things that shouldn't be seen such as stoves and sinks... Well, at least not in the fashion that RS has it in... The one RS has seems more of the modern types of sinks and stoves...

Ehehehe, Geminiman I don't think Jagex are experts on history.

There were things called "hand cannons" which were already invented in medieval times. I even looked it up and found a useful site, the link can be found here.

Personally I think it would be cool to have them in the game.

P.S The sinks and stoves are very modern arn't they?

actually the chinese invented guns, gunpowder, and cannons which at the time were used "hand-held" and this was before medieval times....this was almost Great Wall/biblical times.

I did know that (it is in the link), the wording was just a bit misleading. I wrote: '"hand cannons" which were invented in medieval times.' That is like saying 'cars which were invented in the 21st century', it would have made more sense if I had said '"hand cannons" which had been invented in medieval times.' or '"hand cannons" which were already invented in medieval times.' Good research anyway. :wink:
