Some people get email adresses from runescape players in runescape help forums like runescaperealm. I occasionally get emails from 'Jagex Staff'. ahem.
This is how they look like:

I can't tell this enough times: THESE EMAILS ARE FAKE!
They lead you to such kind of sites (dont try to enter though!):

They look exactly like the Runescape homepage.
If you left click the link in the mail, the adress line will say http://www.runescape.com

I'll say it once again: DON'T LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE! JAGEX WILL NEVER EVER SEND EMAILS! I've heard so many stories op people getting hacked because they clicked a link in such an email and actually believed it.

Andy, duke is working on turning html on in mod's posts, Wayn0 already has it, and once i have it, that will basically be what it is

Sorry if you've already posted this scam but i was scammed my dharok plate.
I thought i was trading it for d legs which was a good deal as dharok plate was 2.4 at the time and d legs 2.7, anyway he showed me the d legs noted then canceled.. told me he wasnt sure. By this time i was desperate for this good deal and when he said "oh go on then quick", i didn't think twise. Sometime in the trade of b4 it he swaped the dragon legs noted for red drag chaps noted. i didnt see any differnce and lost 2.4 million just like that =(

So if the red d chaps for d legs scam hasnt been posted yet here it is, its probly a rare scam but it was effective and ruined my runescape life for abit til i made the money back. stay sharp guys! peace.

For sickmate's thing, he said it would take a day or 2 to get your password changed back. Mine took onlly 5 seconds and then it said "type in your new password" "type in your password again".

i must say keylogger suck! ples do not go to any website that may have even a 1% chance of a key logger! i picked one up and there are hard to delet! you cant go on ur rs acount becous if you do you will get hacked so ples play it safe!
