AOEII problems?!?!

im currently having an aoe2 problem...my game installs fine...i can click play...but it doesn't want to pick up my cd??? i tried another cd...it half worked aswell...is this my aoe or my cd drive? HELP!

Did you try reinstalling it? It may just be a bug. If it still does that you may want to go to www.microsoft.com and ask about it. If still nothing works and they do not respond maybe your computer doesn't meet the requirements.

it's worked on this computer before, and my system way breaches the requirements..

i made my dad copy the disk..the cd still doesn't pick up...but then i went and got this thing done to it at block-buster..

it worked perfectly...so i got out of it, turned off my pc and walked outside to have a bit of a run...came back inside to play a bit more...and BAM, not working again..

That is odd.. I would contact microsoft. Heck this may have nothing to do with it but you could see if you have dust in your fan at all or anything.

i had this problem yesterday i tried to put the disc in to play it and it said please insert a disc i was like wtf?? i restarted my laptop and tried again and it worked :/ very wierd
